Our facilities
Waiting room and reception
This is the first area of the surgery that will be seen by all our clients and
visitors. It is always staffed by a member of our veterinary team, who is there
to give you advice and information on any of our services and on products
available for sale over the counter. The waiting room itself has been designed
so that it is large enough to give your pets the space that they need so as not
to upset each other while waiting to be seen, (even though we do endeavour to
keep waiting times to a minimum).
Consult rooms
These are the rooms where animals are examined with their owners by our vets
and nurses.
Pharmacy
We do not only prescribe drugs and medications for your pets but supply them as
well. We keep a full stock of all the items that we use daily and also are able
to get delivered any unusual / less used items by the next day.
Kennels
We have a variety of sized kennels to accommodate all our inpatients from St.
Bernards to mice. We have a separate cattery to reduce stress of animals on
recovery and also an isolation room for any transmittable cases.
Laboratory
We perform a wide range of on site laboratory examinations and tests and also
have daily collections from a local external laboratory for microbiology,
pathology and other tests.
Prep / Dental Suite
This is the area where ‘dirty’ procedures such as Dentals are
performed. Also where the animals are prepared for operations before being
transferred into the operations theatre.
X-ray
We had our existing xray updated with top of the range xray equipment in 2002
together with an automatic processor.
Op Theatre
A new theatre was created in 2002.
