We have been using Warrendale Vets since it 1st opened. As we have always
had giant breed dogs and also reptiles, it is very difficult to find a vet that
you are happy can treat all kinds of animals. Since Richard bought the practice
we have been more than happy, he and all the staff have been great with all my
dogs (a St Bernard, 2 Great Danes and a cross breed at the moment) having the
confidence that is needed around giant breeds, which we have had problems with
other vets in the past. Also with the reptiles Richard has always been very
happy and knowledgeable to treat any problems we have. I would and have
recommended Warrendale to anyone who wants great, professional and
compassionate care for his or her animals. Thank you Richard and all the staff
at Warrendale for all the care you have shown to all our animals and we hope
this care continues for a very long time.

Richard and his team for the last nine years. The care I've received has always
been the best whether the problem was major or minor. My last three dogs were
always given the best care possible, and I am certain my two recently acquired
dogs will be treated exactly the same by Richard and the team. I always know

Being dog owners for over thirty years we have naturally had to visit
veterinary practices over this time. In 1996 the vet we were then using, being
a gentleman in his mid seventies, informed us of his retirement. Shock, horror
and how inconsiderate of him (just joking). We wished him a long and happy
retirement, then went off to find another vet. After much consideration we
chose Warrendale Veterinary Centre - weren't we the clever ones. Warrendale is
a modern, immaculately clean, easily accessible practice with up to the minute
equipment. On walking through the doors you are met by one or more of the
delightful young ladies who make up the reception and nursing staff. They are
pleasant, welcoming and always have a smile for both you and your pet. Then
through to - Mr Richard Conlon - Veterinary extraordinaire, that is our opinion
and many others share that view. For routine visits, checkups, vaccinations,
etc. they really make it a pleasure for us and especially our dogs to attend.
For anything more worrying which requires diagnosis and at times of illness
they keep us informed, at every stage we know that everything possible will be
done. Richard's skill and knewledge are obvious but in addition to these
qualities it is quite apparent that he cares about the animals he treats. On
holiday last year in Wales after only two days of our weeks holiday Meggie (our
elderly Irish Setter) became very poorly. After speaking to Richard on the
telephone he advised us to take her to visit a vet for examination and a blood
test but we preferred to pack up and bring her back to Richard and Warrendale.
We cannot fault the service we receive but don't ask us, ask our dogs - their
wagging tails attest to Richard's wonderful bedside manner.
